A micro-dwarf angora-type tomato that catches the eye with its fuzzy foliage and small, oval red fruits streaked with golden yellow-orange.

What I appreciate most about Woolly Zwerg is its unusual appearance. Its bluish-gray-green foliage, covered in a fine fuzz, gives it a velvety look that extends to its fruits as well. At maturity, its small oval tomatoes reveal a lovely red skin marked with yellow-orange stripes. When tasted, they have a rather tangy flavor, with subtle sweetness and well-developed aromas. Their dense, firm flesh makes them particularly well suited to drying into delicious sun-dried tomatoes. A variety that stands out as much for its appearance as for the flavor of its fruits.

Woolly Zwerg is a micro-dwarf angora-type variety. Its compact plant reaches approximately 25 to 40 cm in height. Its unusual foliage and fuzzy fruits make it an interesting curiosity to grow in a small space, on a balcony or in a container.

And if you’re itching to get growing, sow it indoors whenever you like. It’s a great way to pass the time.

Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
