A magnificent Ukrainian heirloom variety of climbing beans that produce delicious legumes that are half purple and white. Imported in the 1920s, by an immigrant to the United States, transmitted by his granddaughter to the organization Seed Savers Exchange in 2014. 

Sow 15-20 cm apart, outside when all risk of frost has passed. Make beans climb onto a structure, trellis, or fence.
