In the Kitchen & For Tasting
Its small, firm red cherry tomatoes offer a distinct flavor, with a lovely sweetness supported by noticeable acidity and aromas. They are easy to enjoy just as they are, straight from the garden, or to add a little freshness and character to dishes.
Its Story
Born from research into miniature tomatoes.
The goal was to preserve Micro-Tom’s tiny stature while improving its flavor. More than twenty-five years later, it is still this combination of a miniature plant and a distinctly flavorful tomato that makes Tina interesting.
Where to Grow This Tomato?
At about 15 cm tall, Tina fits wherever space is limited: a small pot, planter, balcony, well-lit windowsill, or indoor growing with supplemental light.
The Seed Grower’s Note
Tina reminded me that a plant doesn’t have to take up much space to offer an interesting experience. Her tiny stature could easily suggest that she is mainly for those who have little room to grow. Yet when tasted, she makes more of an impression than you might expect.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato is not the one that pleases everyone, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
