Capsicum annuum

Sweet, chocolate-colored pepper when ripe, the inside turns brick red. Rich and sweet flavor. Variety developed by Elwyn Meader of the University of New Hampshire, adapted to a cool climate. 75 days. Can be grown in the ground or in a pot.

Sow indoors, 5mm deep, 6-12 weeks before the last frost. Transplant. Gradually acclimatize outdoors, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed.
