Sonca Orange Butternut Winter squash
Storage squash, keepable for up to 8 months, from Hungary. Excellent sweet flavor with a nutty scent! Sweeter and creamier than other varieties of butternut. Harvested while still green, the squash finish ripening indoor. 100-160 days.
Sow indoors, in pockets of 3 to 4 seeds, 2 to 3 weeks before establishment. Transplant after the last risk of frost, at a distance of 1.5 to 2 m in all directions. Or bine direct sowing, in pockets of 3 to 4 seeds, after the last frost. Keep the most vigorous plant.
