What I appreciate about Purple Heart Dwarf is the abundance of its large, mauve, heart-shaped fruits on a compact plant. The flesh is firm and meaty. Their rich, balanced flavor makes them well suited to salads, sauces, and sandwiches.

Its vigorous plant reaches approximately 1.20 to 1.40 m in height and has dense, rugose foliage. Its compact growth and good productivity make it a suitable choice for a container, pot, or small vegetable garden.

Purple Heart Dwarf comes from the Dwarf Tomato Project, a collaborative initiative to develop compact tomato plants with flavors inspired by heirloom tomatoes.

Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.

You can share its seeds within your community: our seeds are reproducible.
