A yellow cherry tomato with pleasant texture and citrusy flavor.
What I like most about Monetka is its soft, juicy texture. Then there’s its sweet flavor with a citrusy note. Its acidity adds freshness without overpowering the sweetness. It produces an abundance of lovely yellow tomatoes, each with a characteristic little pointed tip.
Its determinate plant reaches about 20–25 cm (8–10 inches) in height and has regular foliage. Its compact size makes it easy to grow in a small pot, on a balcony, or indoors with minimal supplemental lighting.
And if you get the urge to start seeds, sow it indoors whenever you like. It’s an excellent way to be patient.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that pleases everyone, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
