Micro-dwarf Tomato Window Box Red - mild & sweet red cherry
I appreciate this contrast in the micro-dwarf Window Box Red: a plant so small, yet surprisingly generous when it comes to producing its little red cherry tomatoes. It’s above all the flavor that makes me keep it. I like its mild, sweet taste, with a light intensity that makes you want to reach for another one.
They are juicy and pleasantly sweet, with very little acidity. They’re perfect for snacking on straight from the garden or enjoying as a snack. They ripen quickly, in about 55 days, making this little tomato particularly interesting when you’re eager for an early harvest.
It easily finds a place in a 3–4 litre pot, on a balcony, in a garden box or a growing tower. It can also be grown in the ground or indoors with supplemental lighting. And if you get the urge to start seeds, you can even sow it indoors whenever you like. It’s an excellent way to be patient.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that pleases everyone, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen and your habits.
You can share its seeds within your community: our seeds are open-pollinated and reproducible.
