In the kitchen & for tasting
Its small, bright-red cherry tomatoes are easy to enjoy straight from the garden, as a snack, or in salads. When picked fully ripe, their mild, sweet flavor is pleasantly aromatic.
Its story
Red Robin is one of those micro-dwarf tomatoes whose name often comes up when looking for a tomato that can produce in very little space. Small, compact, and productive, it has long been appreciated by gardeners who want to grow tomatoes on a balcony, patio, or even indoors.
What if, this time, you could be the one to talk about it?
Its ideal garden
Its miniature size allows it to find a place where conventional tomatoes cannot. It is particularly well suited to balconies, small spaces, and indoor growing with supplemental lighting.
A 3- to 4-liter pot is enough. It requires little maintenance: mainly sunshine or good light, along with regular watering. A light stake can be useful if needed.
A note from the seed grower
This is one of the varieties I suggest to beginners who have limited space. It is productive and easy to grow. Picked fully ripe, when the fruits have reached a vibrant red, it appeals to those who enjoy mild, sweet tomatoes. Give it sunshine or good light and regular watering, and you will be rewarded with delicious red cherry tomatoes all summer long — or all year if you choose to grow it indoors.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato is not the one that pleases everyone, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.

Outdoor sowing: 5 mm, 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Harden off seedlings before planting outdoors.
Indoor sowing: Whenever you like! Especially when your fingers are itching to sow and you're eager to get started, it's a great way to be patient.
Temperature: 24–32 °C for germination, then 16–20 °C
