A striking elongated heart-shaped tomato, with abundant flesh and plenty of culinary possibilities.
What I like about Korean Long is its generous, melting flesh and rich flavor, despite its mild acidity. Its large pink fruits, generally weighing between 80 and 250 g, have a very elongated heart shape. They contain few seeds and plenty of flesh, with a slightly grainy texture. Versatile in the kitchen, this tomato is equally suited to sauces and salsa, as well as salads and sandwiches, where its unusual shape adds an interesting touch. Its crack-resistant skin is another welcome feature in the garden.
Its vigorous, indeterminate plant can reach 180 to 200 cm in height. It produces generous crops of large fruits throughout the season, with relatively early maturity for a tomato of this size.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
