Very old variety dating from the 19th century. Named in honor of King Umberto I di Savoia. Also known as King Umbert, Re-Umberto. Indeterminate plant, vigorous and productive, giving tomatoes in the shape of an elongated plum of pink color. Excellent fresh, in salads, dehydrated or for sauces.

Sow indoors, 5mm deep, 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant. Gradually acclimatize outdoors, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed.
