Heirloom variety native to southeastern Canada and northeastern Maine, producing both excellent dark green beans and tasty burgundy and white legumes. Would have been given as a birth gift to Joseph Clark by the Passamaquoddy Indians of Maine in the 1600s. Also known as Trout or Appaloosa. 75-80 days.
Sow 8-10 cm apart, outside when all risk of frost has passed.
