A golden-yellow cherry tomato with an intense, sweet flavor and a hint of citrus.

What stood out to me about Floragold Basket was the intensity of its flavor. It is distinctly sweet, with a touch of acidity that brings out a citrus note. Its pronounced flavor offers a lovely tasting experience in which the sweetness and citrus notes complement each other.

Developed by the University of Florida, this determinate plant reaches about 30 cm in height and produces golden-yellow cherry tomatoes. It performs well in hot, humid climates. Its compact growth makes it well suited to a 3–4 litre pot, outdoors or indoors with minimal supplemental lighting.

And if you’re itching to get growing, sow it indoors whenever you like. It’s a great way to pass the time.

Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.

You can share its seeds within your community: our seeds are reproducible.
