Recent dwarf variety, developed by Jason Hayes, in the United States. Plant with regular 'rugosa' type foliage is about 1.40 metres tall. The pear-shaped fruits are purple in color with green stripes and have an excellent flavor. The flesh is firm and juicy. Good Keeper. Mid-season.
Sow indoors, 5 mm deep, 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant. Acclimatate gradually outside, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed. Also suitable for growing in 10 to 12 liter pots.
