A pink tomato with small to medium-sized fruits and a mild, balanced flavor.
What I particularly like about Clare Valley Pink is its versatility and mild, sweet flavor. Its round, pink tomatoes weigh between 80 and 150 g and are produced abundantly. Their juicy flesh and balanced, rather mild flavor make them well suited to both salads and preserving.
Its vigorous plant reaches about 1.20 m in height and has regular, rugose foliage.
Clare Valley Pink was selected and named by Patrina Nuske Small from the Grumpy family, which originated from a cross between Black from Tula and Budai Torpe. Craig LeHoullier, Ted Maiden and Bill Minkey also contributed to the selection work as part of the Dwarf Tomato Project.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
