Famous Heirloom variety of hot pepper native to the city of Chimayo, New Mexico. The 7 to 12 cm long fruits with their thin, easy-to-dry skins are perfect for the production of homemade chili powder. Variety registered in the Ark of Taste. To try! Not too spicy, so you can abuse it for the pleasure of enjoying it, without suffering too much! 1500-5000 SHU 65 days. 

Sow indoors, 5 mm deep, 6 to 12 weeks before the last frost. Transplant. Acclimate outside gradually, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed.
