A generous variety that produces lovely clusters of small red tomatoes on a vigorous plant.
What I enjoy about Bajawa is the abundant production and sweet flavour of its little fruits. Its red cherry tomatoes grow in clusters of around ten fruits. Their mild, sweet flavour is accompanied by a slight touch of acidity that adds a little freshness. Their juicy flesh makes them especially enjoyable to eat.
Originally from the island of Flores, Indonesia, this variety stands out for its generous production and small tomatoes that are perfect for enjoying fresh from the garden.
Its indeterminate, vigorous and resilient plant produces generously throughout the season.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
