A contemporary variety born from a remarkable cross, celebrating the joy of gardening and cooking.
What I appreciate about Anthony’s Passionate Heart is its complex flavor, with sweetness balanced by subtle acidity and a slight salty note that gives it plenty of character. It has become a favorite of mine. I reserve a special place for it in my garden every year.
Its developer, Jeff Dawson, crossed Sungold and Amish Paste to create a heart-shaped tomato with a vivid red color.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
