Andrew Rahart Jumbo Red Tomato — Heritage Red Beefsteak with Rich, Balanced and Intensely Aromatic Flavor
The tomato 'Andrew Rahart Jumbo Red' is one of those varieties whose history is as enjoyable as the fruit itself. Of Italian origin, it comes from a family heritage whose seeds were collected from the Italian community in northern New York and passed down by the collector Andrew Rahart. It combines authentic flavor and reliability in the garden. Beefsteak-type tomatoes have a rich, balanced, and intensely aromatic flavor, enhanced with just the right amount of acidity. This red tomato is remarkable in slices, perfect for sandwiches and summer plates. Beyond its taste, it is spliting and crack-resistant, making it a reliable choice for discerning northern gardeners.
